This associate of Art in Fine and Performing Arts Degree is a transfer degree designed to be the first two years of a bachelor's degree at a four-year college/university or develop the needed skills to work in the creative industry. This degree gives you the ability to select one of the Visual Arts or Performing Arts concentrations.

The Visual Arts concentration is designed to be the first two years of a Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) degree and/or a Bachelor of Art Education (BAE) degree. This degree also prepares students who are seeking careers/positions as visual artists: those artists who are seeking work with community art education programs: gallery managers; professional art studio internships; teaching assistants; and those who wish to work as apprentices in community theater set designs.
The Performing Arts concentration is designed to be the first two years of a Bachelor of Art Degree (BA) in Music, Dance, or Drama/Theater. This degree also prepares students who are seeking careers/positions as performing artists; those artists who are seeking work with performance education programs: performance venue managers; professional performance internships; performance teaching assistants; and those who wish to work as apprentices in community theater or performance venues.
